Thank you for your interest in Darlington School! As director of planned giving, I am fortunate to have a job that most people only dream about - working each day with fellow alumni and friends of Darlington to find planned giving options that match their needs and allow them a way to give back to the school that has meant so much to all of us. My Darlington roots go back 43 years. I enrolled as a sixth-grader at the Lower School and graduated from the Upper School in 1974, the year after Darlington merged with Thornwood School for Girls. Continuing the family tradition, my two daughters have attended the school as well. The benefits Darlington has provided me and my girls are both immeasurable and humbling. I am excited to share with you my Darlington experiences and look forward to hearing about yours. Planned giving will play a vital role in the future success of Darlington. Each year, we have an increasing number of alumni and friends who are benefiting from life income plans, gift annuities and other gift vehicles. I look forward to exploring with you the many ways you, through planned giving, can help us make this wonderful school even better while - at the same time - benefiting from possible income and/or estate tax reductions. Warmest regards and Go Tigers! Clay Doss '74 Planned Giving Director
